The principal bedroom is located on the south-east corner on the first floor. It has a delightful view towards the bay.

Its ceiling decoration is a haze of “cupids, cherubim, and angel forms with intertwined garlands of poppies, wild flowers and lacework, and flowery festoons gathered beneath starry skies”.
