The boudoir is located in the north-west corner on the first floor.

The decoration of this room, Mrs. Greenlaw’s retreat, was her pride and joy. It was designed to represent an apparently tented apartment in a Sultan’s palace with columns seemingly to support the ceiling. The decoration is still to be fully revealed but it includes stencilled walls portraying the sacred ibis and vases of flowers on a balustrade.
