The decorative scheme in this room is barely discernable through the over painting. The elements of the design are being investigated by the conservationist, Andrew Thorn.

This room was originally furnished with a 10- foot telescope mahogany dining table, nine chairs, black walnut side-board, dinner wagon, rosewood upright grand piano a collection of bronzes, art china and silver plate.
