Buses 200 or 207 run from the corner Lonsdale and Swanston Streets to and along Studley Park Road.
Tram 109 can be boarded in Collins Street. In Victoria Street, get off at at Walmer Street, opposite Victoria Gardens, cross the Walmer Street Bridge and walk up the hill to the house.
Trams 109 or 48 can be boarded in Collins Street. Both travel directly to Kew Junction where you can board buses 200 or 207 or walk to Walmer Street.

Walmer Street bridge closure
The Walmer St bridge will be closed from mid-August 2022 for approximately eight months. Alternative routes from Victoria Street are via Nicholson and Gipps St in Abbotsford and Carson Street in Kew. These involve quite lengthy walks. Visitors using public transport will be better served by taking a bus along Studley Park Road. More details here
